(CNN)-Claudio Ranieri has left as as Roma coach after a series of disastrous performance in the country on Sunday saw them izhv〃rlate three goal leads to a loss of 4-3 as in Genoa.

The result marked the fourth consecutive victory for the country based on Rome, which also has lost Ukrainian Shakhtar Donetsk team in the Champions League earlier this week.

After much speculation on the future of the Ranieri AFP reported that the 59-year-old told Italian news agency ANSA, that he is leaving.
