Martial arts history


When you search Marital in Arts history, you must find the task must be difficult and challenging.? You find conflicting information throughout the literature makes it impossible in some cases to separate fact from legend and fiction. Although this makes it difficult when trying to do an academic treatment of the historical facts related to martial arts, it should not change the fact that these explanations are an integral and inseparable part of martial art history and are important in the formation of the overall martial arts philosophy.

It is also important to note that there are many political, social, economic, cultural and geographical influences that shaped the various forms of unarmed combat and martial arts. No forms practiced throughout history have a descent from a cross-section of these impacts and influence each had a different impact on its formation.

Martial arts is that we have learned to know them in today's world, in fact, a modem phenomenon has introduced widely to the world in the early part of the twentieth century. Unarmed combat history goes back as far as civilization with the earliest entries show unarmed combat goes back to around 4000 b.c. There were hieroglyphs found in Egyptian pyramids shows the military men from that time by means of fighting techniques similar to we know as boxing.

Bodhidharama was born into the Kshatriya, he would have been trained in Vajaramushti. This would then have been the art that was introduced to the monks of the Shaolin monastery. According to the tradition found Bodhidharama monks be in poor physical condition. As a way to increase their physical condition he has a reputation for credited to have taught them a method called conditioning Shin Pa Lo He Shoo he also with to have a great influence on Chinese fighting art.
